Mystic, CT - Shirley Ann (Shafer) Phelps, 66, of 31 Hewitt Road, died
Friday, Mar 23, 2001, in Ledyard as a result of a fire in the home of her
son Eugene.
She was born on March 17, 1935, in New London, CT, the daughter of
Constance "Connie" Pendarvis and Neil Davis Shafer. She married married
Clyde W. Phelps on March 13, 1954, he died April 9, 1994.
She is survived by three sons, Eugune O. Phelps, Clyde N. Phelps, and John
D. Phelps, and a sister Clara (Shafer) Main. In addition t

The Mobile Genealogical Society will meet Saturday
July 10, 2004. We are meeting at All Saints Episcopal
Church, at the cornor of Government and Ann Streets.
There is a mini workshop from 12:00-12:30 followed by
refreshments and a brief business meeting.
The speaker, Dr. Harold Layfayette Grant of Pascagoula
MS. will follow at 1:00.
Hope all those interested in Genealogy will come out

Pat, that is Candacey Jones b. 8/30/1830 d April 08, 1908 and John " Henry "
Cumbest Jr. b 1/23/1822 d 8/13/1891. She die in that house with Diabetic
in Jackson County, Miss.
She was also blind for the last 10 years.
