Can anyone tell me if there was any train wrecks in or around Parsons KS area ca 1886-1887-8. There was a story going around in some of my husbands descendants that a relative was killed in a train wreck after he got on one at Parsons. He supposedly knew the one who let him help feed the coal to keep it running and for some reason the train blew up???? I appreciate any help on this.
