I purchased a subscription to the book section. It was $14.99 a month. I had found
a rather uncommon name mentioned in 44 different books, various genealogies and
county histories. I was in the middle of collecting information when access was
taken away.
It doesn't work so well with common names; there are too many "hits".

Hi,
I noticed the mention of a death certificate from CA. I'd rather have than
info than where they were born as at Birth little fan-fare happens. Death
Certificate must have Township, county and death date so she will know about
what dates to check in the old news pappers. Please forgive me as I don't
mean to but in, just my thoughts :)

Hello List:
The Fremont Library site was not meant to be open to all and sundry;
someone made a mistake and now the mistake has been corrected.
This Heritage Quest/Pro Quest database is subscription only and the
libraries have to pay for it. My local library has it as one of their
databases and those of us who have library cards can access it and any of
their other paid databases from home, except Ancestry, which requires use
in the library only.
I would imagine that the concept is that the people who

There are 2 James Seymore/Seymours' in 1880 KS but you really need to go to
the KS-CensusLookup list and get a 1900 census lookup on James. I have a
hunch Nettie is a nickname. Any idea who Esther married or did she marry?
Just fishing. Phyllis

Hello,
I am trying to find the birth of Esther SEYMORE. According to her death
certificate from California she was born - 11 Oct 1895 in Kansas. Her
parents are listed as James SEYMORE and Nettie SCHREMER.
I would appreciate any ideas on how to find this, or anyone with info about
this family.
Thanks,
JanaLee Petersen
Hi Kansas List,
I'm searching for information about, where my Great-Aunt JULIA (HOWSON/HOUSTON) RUSSELL,
died and is buried in Bourbon County or surrounding Counties
Julia died in 1924, she would have been abt. 34 when she died.
Heritage Quest is NOT free. It is a paid database just like Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com. Some libraries have subscriptions and you can access through their links or their computers.
Regards,
Tiffany

Hi List,
Much of what we family researchers are trying to access should in my opinion
be free in the first place. I am one with a "Large Private Library of
Genealogy Books." I am in search of others with the same to create a
web-site for researchers that requires no subscription and all this time
costing garbage. Anyone can contact me at: jjb4@rmci.net. PLEASE only
serious minded reply.

I am interested in contacting someone who is either related to, or who is

They are both descended from the family of Isaac Martin LANNING and Lydia

You can take a look at them at:

Just click on biographies and go to the BIODEX to see all surnames.
I am still in the process of adding Ness County information. While
you're there PLEASE feel free to add your NESS COUNTY information,
births, deaths, bio's etc. so it can be shared with others.
