All, Any idea where one could find a map of the Village on Great Blasket Island? The book, "The Blasket Islands Next Parish America", by Joan & Ray Stagles, has a sketched map on page 70. I am looking for the plot of land where "John Michael KEANE" lived from ~1885 to ~1907. Unfortunately it seems that the Blasket Islands were skipped in the 1901 census and he does not show up in the 1911 census. Thanks for your great help, John M. I don't know, but did find the following in Elizabeth Healey's LITERARY TOUR OF IRELAND The Great Blasket "is four miles long, half a mile wide at its lowest and widest point, and nearly a thousand feet high along a knife-like bacbone running away into the teeth of the south-western gales (p 55)."
