Hi all
I have somewhat hesitantly posted a portion of my ancestry on Roots web. The
dates for the most part are approximate, but perhaps someone somewhere can
find my ggrandfather James Timothy Keating...he heads out to marry the widow
jordan in Maine and poof! disappears...

Dear Listers,
I recently received from the PA Archives an Inventory of File MG-265 for
John Keating (1760-1856). Until receiving the papers I had hoped it was
a file on "my" John Keating. Would you beleive there were two (2) John
Keating who owned companies called Keating & Co.?
Anyway they sent me a brief bio plus an inventory of what is in the file
in Harrisburg. Anyone looking for "this" John Keating would find this
info valuable.
Please contact me privately and I will be happy to pass this informatio

Hi Alycia,
Well -- I am in Maine and a Keating descendant. My father (born in 1907)had
a cousin, Jim Keating, who was a Marine Corps general and died in
Washington, DC. I think cousin Jim's wife was named Betty. And I think
they had one son.

Hi Faith
The James Keating for whom I am searching would have been born approximately 1865 give or take. His sons were born around 1882, 1883. Thank you though for the heads up. And who knows, perhaps Jim was relat
