On the 1870 census for KY, Jefferson County, Fisherville Precinct there is a Fleming KERN listed. His age is listed as 55. Now, I am looking for a Fleming KERN age abt 56. I found my Fleming KERN on the 1840 and 1850 census in Pennsylvania. He disappears from the 1860 census in Pa and Ky. By 1870(in Ky) he has two children, Fannie, age 18 in 1870 and Geo. Edna; My ancestor John Leonard Kern b. 1 Oct 1725 married Charlotte Scharadin and had 10 children. I only have names for seven; George, David, Elizabeth, Leonhard, Henry, Maria Margareta and Susanna.
