my great grandfather was Ray G.(George) Kern. I believe George may have been his grandfather. The dates seem about right. I think that George may have fathered a John H. Kern who was Ray George Kern's father....Any ideas??

I have a Jacob and Christina in my family line. They were born around 1757, he in MO and she in Frederick CO Maryland. I believe one of their children was named Valentine who married Elizabeth Smoots of Maryland. They both died in Arcadia, Hancock CO, Ohio. Any information would be appreciated.

Up for bids is a VG condition single page handwritten on preprinted form document dated April 17, 1848 in Allegany County, Maryland. Document involves the relief of an insolvent debtor, a Jacob Kerns of said county, by actions begun in 1847. Kerns is discharged from his debts under an 1805 Assembly Act. Interesting document in frameable condition.
