Mary E. and her children were still there in 1880. Their children were: Mary b. 1860, Emily b. 1863, William b. 1866, Amos H. b. 1868, John R. b. June 1869, Sarah b. 1872 and Oscar H. . 1875. John R. Hello Everybody, Thursday I was able to add my g-g-grandparents to my family!! I wondered if anyone else shares these folks???? Jacob KERN lived in Landau, Bavaria around 1820 and married Marie JOACHIM around 1800. Their son (my g-grandfather) was Frederick KERN. He came to America around 1850 and settled in New York City.
