Hi,
My grandmother was Celestine Mary (Kern) DeLaune from Napoleonville.
My grandparents lived in Lafayette and Breaux Bridge for many years.
I received most of my information from George DeLaune. He had researched the Delaune and Kern Family. Go to the DeLaune Message Board and send a message to George DeLaune.

Looking for possible connection for a Porter J. Kern/s in Huron County Ohio. He was born about 1839 in Penn. May have a son Eddie or Edward. I know where he was in 1870 so I am looking for where he was before then.
Any information or help would be appreciated.
Hi all! Good news! I've spent the past day procrastinating on studying for my
finals tomorrow by making a new webpage for the Kern site....Now the 1800
census for every state that a Kern lived is online! Go to the Kern site and
there is a link.
