I am seeking information about a Valentine? KERN. He is my
great-great-grandfather. He married an Ella DEVINNE? I have Valentine's
birthdate as 1861 and deathdate as 1937. I have Ella's birthdate as
1861, and her deathdate as 1956. They had one son that I know of, and
his name was Perry Jefferson KERN. He was born July 26, 1886. And he
died 1960. Perry married Millie CANTWELL. I know that eventually Perry

interested in a James G. Karnes (b. 1816) who came from Monroe Co. WVA to
Buchanan Co. Missouri in 1839. He came with his brother in law, Isaac

I am looking for Matthias KERN his ancestors and descendants. Matthias KERN
was born 16 Jul 1815 in Karlsbad-Ittersbach, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. He
emigrated to NY, USA, prior to 1860. He married in 1852 (place unknown) to
Anna Margrethe BAUMBACH, b. 18 Aug, 1822 in Weimarschmidte, Bavaria. She had
three boys (John, Henry, & August born 1847, 1848, 1849) by a previous

I am looking for information regarding George Kern and Phoebe Matlock Kern
who lived in Barnsburg, Hamilton County, Ohio in early 1900's. I have just
started searching this line and do not know where they came from except that
George probably immigrated from Germany. I think Phoebe may be a second
generation English heritage, but not certain. They had one daughter Mary,
and two sons, name of oldest unknown; youngest was Warren Musicamp Kern. He

Bucks Co, Pa and had children: Dorothy m/ Conrad Smith, Elizabeth m/ Conrad
Ehrig, John M., and Christian m/ Catharine. I know that daughter, Dorothy,
was born in Saxony. I can assume they immigrated to the States in the 1840's.

Frederick William Kern - 1900 Fed Census lists Frederick W. KERN, age
47, born in NY state, with a 1900 address of 2449 17th Street, San
Francisco. He lived there with his wife, Emma, age 45; born in
California, and their children, Rose, age 20; Herbert, age 18; Albert,
age 14; and Rueben, age 9, all born in California. Also in residence,
in 1900, one servant, un-named.
Edward Wesley Kern - 1900 Fed Census shows Edward W. KERN, age 44, born
in NY, living at 51 Hampshire Street, San Francisco with his wife
Looking for information on a James Kern wife Isabel Martin. Their known
children were John Curran and Margaret Ann Curran. Margaret married Bernerd
Colgan and lived in West Deptford NJ. 1900 census says she came to America
in1869.

Hi- I am researching Mathias KERN, who died in Westmoreland Co. in 1800. He
had 5 children: William b. 1756, Peter, George, Michael and Rosina. I descend
from William KERN. I am interested in trying to fill in some gaps
particularily concerning George KERN. I suspect he was born in the 1750's. He
was a frontier ranger during the Revolution according to family tradition and

Bucks Co., PA. died 27 Nov 1813 in Montgomery Co., PA and was buried
at Boehm's Church, Whitpain, PA . She married Henry Hoover (Huber).
