Hello everyone! I have been far to negligent of these lists this semester

things as we've had a lot of new subscribers lately.
As always, if any of you have concerns, questions, suggestions, etc., you
are more than welcome to email me directly either here or on AOL at

in the subject line so I can see it's not spam, and don't leave the subject
line blank
I have read recently of the Kern surname. I am looking for information on
Susan Elizabeth Kern born 1816 in Ohio and married 8-4-1834 in Logan County,
Ohio to Thomas B. Elwood. They later moved to Illinois. Any leads would be
wonderful.

I found in USA Today (26Oct 99) an article about GE dishwasher "recall". It
affects only models with a slide-type switch between heated dry and energy
saver, that were made between April 1983 and January 1989. If you are
unfortunate enought to have one of these models that have been known to
catch fire here is the hyperlink - Denise

This message is for Robert McAlear!
About a year or so ago, you and I corresponded about Willoughby KERN. At
the time, I was just collecting KERN families in the Northumberland
County/Columbia County area. I now believe that Willoughby may be related.
Would you please contact me. Your old e-mail address bounced.
Thanks!
Alice Kern
Is there someone who would do some lookups in Simmersfeld, Wurttemberg for
me in exhange for some Family Tree Maker World Family Tree CDs lookups? I
have CDs 1-32 and various other FTM CDs.
I am trying to track down some Kerns and possible Strohmeiers, that
eventually immigrated to the US to Wabash Co. Ill. prior to the 1870 census.
I have posted the KERN/Rothfurz/Strohmeier information before and would
share it again with anyone interested.
Thanks,
