I am not sure if I am on the right lists or not. I would like to find out
about a Thomas Gardner, who was suppose to have came over with LaFayette. In
1777 LaFayette only brought a small group of French officers with him. In
1779 he went back to France and the government agreed to send 6,000 men and
stores of ammunition and clothing to America. My question is; is there some
way to find out if and where in France this Thomas Gardner came from.
