Dear Keskastel list,
I have been told that George K. Reeb, my grandfather, b. 1885 Keskastel
first
worked on a dairy farm in WI, when he immigrated from Germany in 1903.
He later
moved to Polk Co., NE and worked on the farm of his mother's half
sister,
Charlotte Reeb (Mrs. George Reeb). I know he was married in Polk Co. in
1908.

Here are some of the events that I abstracted from the Lutheran Churchbook of
Keskastel.
Hans Jacob Manni, son of Hans Jacob & Anna Maria (Werli) Manni was baptized
20 Feb. 1717 in Altweiler.
Johann Jost Manni, son of Johann Jacob & Anna Maria (Werli) Manni was
baptized 10 Dec. 1722 in Altweiler.
Benedict Manni died 30 Jan. 1708 in Altweiler.
Johannes Manni from Bern (?) Switzerland died 7 Nov. 1707 in Altweiler.
Calculated from his age given in death record, he must have been born 1617.

Hi, Looking for any info on the name, Lab.
Peter S. Lab was born in the Alsace-Lorraine area in 1797.
Wife: Marie Frances Francoise, (Francoise probably not right)
Offspring= Agustus C., John L., Lewis or Louie.,Alexis, Felix,
Mary E., and/or John Baptiste Lab. Any help would be greatly
