He compiled the results of his research and wrote many books from this huge work. Is this different from the index(es) of church records that I heard about last year? I assume the books are in German, but I had no trouble at least using the index(es) that were filed by LDS many years ago--and quite useful they were too. If these are books of written-out text that would present a problem for non-German speakers. What sort of file format are these discs in? They aren't too cheap and I'd hate to find that they required something not available in the US. Thanks for the notice. Brendan
