searched many church books and notary records of "Krummes Elsass" (Hilly
Alsace). He compiled the results of his research and wrote many books

quite useful they were too. If these are books of
written-out text that would present a problem for

What sort of file format are these discs in? They
aren't too cheap and I'd hate to find that they
required something not available in the US.
