Rudolf, Sorry, but my Kiser/Keyser line is descended from Charles Keyser (born 1702 died 1778) who came to America from Germany in 1749. He landed in Pennsylvania and his descendents are mainly in the Virginia area. I wish you could help with with my other German line. My mother was Maria Koenigseder born 1922 in Marktl, Germany. Her parents were Franz Koenigseder and Amalie Mittermaier. Her brothers Xaver and Rudl and their children lived in Munich. Any help would be appreciated - THANK

Linda, thanks for your answer. The names Koenigseder and Mittermeier sound strongly bavarian! The village Marktl has nowadays the postal code 84533 and I would recommend a letter to the roman-catholic parish there. Tell them your questions....
