Hi Shiela, on reading your message on the Ks Cemetery, I do not know a lot
about the Gregg family, however I do believe I remember some Gregg's being
buried in the Boulware Cemetery near Blue Mound, Ks, or west of Mapleton, Ks.
Are you familiar with this area since I don't know where you are from and I
believe the Gregg Family is also related to our familyl as, my grandfather
William Mosier is buried in the cemetery I mentioned and think the Moiser's and
Gregg families are related. I will talk
Hello all. I'm new to this list, and hope someone can give me a helping hand. I'm researching the Whitaker surname in two areas of Yorkshie, England. Rose Whitaker married George Gledhill in 1860. They emigrated to the US in spring 1872, with their daughters Henrietta b.1862 and Annie b. 1866. Rose died in Oswego 16 Dec 1895 and George in Galena 11 Nov 1910. I have no idea where they are buried and wondered if anyone had come accross them.
Keith Whitaker, Catterick, North Yorkshire, England
Can you give me anymore info on William Moiser, know his wife was Nancy
Cedars, they had came from Illionis I believe. She is buried in the Stevenson
Cemetery north of Xenia, Ks. In what year frame would William Moiser raised
the Gregg girl? Do you have any pictures at all, we have on one, that is not a
good picture of William Moiser. Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you.
For anyone interested who can't find these. I sure had a time.

This is so interesting to find out these things about families. My g-mother
on mom's side was named Lydia and was called Lyde so much of the time. If
possible I would like any and all info you might have on the Moiser family as
we know nothing except we think they came from Illionis. So it would be of
great interest for us. Thanks so much.
Hello all, Many thanks to those who replied, I'm very gratefull. I was asked to give more information. Rose died 16 Dec 1894 aged 57 in Oswego, Labette Co. Their daughter Henrietta married Frank Edward Waring in Oswego 1 Jun 1887 and daughter Annie married John Benjamin Nichols in Oswego 27 Mar 1891. George died 11 Nov 1910 in Galena, Cherokee Co age 72. I have very kindly been sent copies of the 1900 and 1910 censuses, showing George in Galena, the last one obviously just before he died. I have no idea whe

Now, that's assuming if it were another State he wouldn't be contacting the [KS-CEM] list.
Kansas Cemeteries List:
Oswego, Kansas is in Labette county
Galena, Kansas is in Cherokee county
Unfortunately, I don't have access to burials in those 2 Kansas counties, maybe
someone else on the list does.
Best of luck with your research!
