Debbie, I read your e-mail with interest concerning the Neodasha
cemetery. Several years ago my mother and I both wanted to go to this
cemetery and when we finally found it over the tracks on the west side of
town we were so surprised as we were expecting a rather small
cemetery. The Neodasha is by no means a small cemetery. You don't just
walk it in a couple of hours. We were lucky and finally found the man who
cares for cemetery an
A letter dated August 30, 1980 from P.A. Palmer says and I quote
"The Custard Cemetary was grown over with brush and the man who owned the pasture let his cattle pasture it. So Jeff Little purchased the land and built a fence around it and cleaned it up and now the county takes care of it"
He signs his name Phillip Palmer ar the end. It is my understanding that he lived in Garland Ks at that time.
Sorry - I'm not in this line.

Hello Melissa,
When I was looking for obscure cemeteries in Leavenworth, I found that a
gentleman at Mt. Muncie Cemetery (916) 727-1935 was able to tell me where
they were and even had computer lists of who was buried there. I made a note
that "St. John's was west of town".
Also, you might check this link:
http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/leavenwo/library/cemeteries/
I don't see St. John on this list, but maybe you can get some info from it.
