I am hoping someone on the list might live in Columbus who has a digital camera.
I am looking for a photo of the post office and one of the sculpture that is in the Community building--it was formerly located at the Post Office.
I am willing to pay for this.
If you have any questions, please ask!
Thank you in advance,
Mary

Betty,
Here's a site for Womack and other spellings. They don't seem to go back that far, but maybe someone there can help.

Looking for information on the death of Benjamin Phipps. He was in Jasper County, MO in the 1880 census and his family is listed in Galena, KS in the 1900 census. His wife Elizabeth is listed in the 1900 census as a widow. Death date would be between 1883 and 1900.

Not "positive" but try this site. It was made a couple of years ago and has listings from Cherokee County.

Does anyone know if there is a web site for the state of Kansas to find
exact death dates for a person?
Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.
