7. [KSHarper] Crisfield Lumber Yard [1]
Family history notes that my wife's G-Grandfather John George Meyer owned a Lumber Yard in Crisfield, Kansas sometime between 1910 and 1923 after his return to the area from Missouri. Initially (from 1910 to 1912), he lived in Oklahoma moving to Harper in 1912 until his death in 1923. During that time we know he owned 3 lots in Crisfield but the records we have do not indicate whether it contained the lumber yard or not. As to when John George owned the property, one story, not substantiated, has him tradi

9. Re: [KSHARPER] Harper Co. marriages in GEDCOM format [1]
Hello Tom, Nice job on the marriage records for Harper County, KS. I do see an error though. My great-grandfather Joseph Wharton married May Jones....not Nay Jones as it has always been shown on that list. Don't know if you can fix it or not. Michael Wharton
10. [KSHARPER] Harper Co. marriages in GEDCOM format [1]
The Harper County marriages, 1878 through 1930, were transcribed and posted at http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/harper/harpergenealogy/harpermarriage.htm I took this a step further and made a GEDCOM file out of them. GEDCOM files are readable by any genealogy software and a variety of utilities. They are universally compatible. The file is posted at http://gedcomlibrary.com/vitals.html I have also added the data to SortedByName.com for the benefit of folks who don't know Aunt Nellie went to Kansas.

I added a copy of your email (minus your email address, to reduce spam) as a not to both the bride and the marriage, and posted the new GEDCOM file this morning. I left the bride's name as Nay as shown on the transcription. Tom Alciere Hudson, New Hampshire Quoting ksharper-request@rootsweb.com: > 3.
