Miss Lillie C. TULIEN, 76, of Route 2 Meriden, Meriden, died May 24 at a Topeka hospital.
She was born in St. Marys on Feb. 21, 1880, and had lived in Meriden since 1937. She was a member of the St. Marys Lutheran Church and was an organist and superintendent of the church. She was a teacher in the Hill School for several years.
Survivors include one sister, Lillie TULIEN of Route 5; and four brothers, Harry Tulien, Herbert Tulien, and Paul Tulien,

Mrs. Katie CARTER, 85, died May 29 at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital at Winchester. She was born November 26, 1870, at WInchester and was a lifelong resident of that community. She was a member of the Winchester Christian Church.

Frank, son of W.L. MARKS met with an accident last Friday while driving home from school. The buggy in which he and his sisters, were riding upset throwing hime out and breaking his left arm. Dr. BORST was called and reduced the fracture.

A former Kansan Professor Harold A. WILLIAMSON, died May 24 at his home at Hammond, Ind.
He was professor of speech and English in the extension division of Purdue University at Hammond. He had been a resident of Hammond since 1946.

Whit Laming did not arrive at his home in England in time to see his father alive. Mr. LAMING, the senior, died Saturday morning at his home in Spalding, and word of his death was received here the same morning by cablegram. Whit Laming landed in Liverpool Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Dollie REICHERT, 78, of Valley Falls, died Saturday night at the Jefferson County Hospital Annex at Winchester. She was born December 16, 1879 at Odense, and taught school in Jefferson County seven years before her marriage to Levi Reichert in 1902.
She lived in Half Mound community sever
