Does anyone know where I can have a document perserved. I have an old hand-written family tree that is in pieces.
Thanks!
Depending on where you live, there are different options to pursue. Live in
a city where they are universities-call the librarian there and ask if their
are conservators in the area. Live where they are museums that have written
documents- call the headhog there and ask. But for Pete's sake, don't
scotch tape it together.
Hi---I can't answer your question about preservation of records. But I do
have a question to ask you about your RITCHIE Genealogy. Have you seen the
RITCHIE surname spelled RICHOTTE? And was your surname in Quebec? You may
write me off list you you like. Here is the address to use:

been taken in the 1880's with Lizzie noted as 14 years old at the time. In
addition to her name and age someone has also written "a cousin of Edith" on
the back of the photograph. I'm hoping to locate someone from Lizzie's
family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful
place with family.
If you are a member of this family, o
I'm not related to Lizzie, but I do belong to the Johnson County Genealogical Society. I'm taking your information to the meeting in late May. I hope we can find one.
