I am looking for information on Jonathan and Esther (Burgess) Johnson previously from NY. Moved to Kansas in the land run apparently, Jonathan died after the 1880 census, but no record of him in a cemetery. Esther went back to NY a

I, too, am searching the MARTIN line in Kansas. I'm curious---is your
MARTIN line of Irish descent? And if so, was your earlier MARTIN line in
Iowa before moving on to Kansas?

Would also like to say thanx to Linda Lewis for her efforts. I will never
be able to come back to KC and find the gravesites of relatives we never knew
about until I got into this chasing your past hobby but we do know that they

Thanks so much for putting endless hours into walking the cemeteries and
putting them online. I found long lost Carl DeWitt Martin in the Olathe
Cemetery! I am so appreciative as I had offered to do some work on the project when
my husband became ill and I could not do it.
Carl may be the last of the Martin children to find of 9 with a father who
more or less went from parish to parish all over Kansas leaving few trails and
closed churches from the 20's and 30's!
