Thank you for the information. I had not had a chance to look at the census records yet. From what you sent me it looks like my g aunt Nellie was married and widowed, without issue, before she married Leonard. And this we were not aware of.

Sarah Myers born about 1831 in KY or IL, died in or near Beloit, Mitchell Co., KS about 1865-1869. She was the wife of Daniel Myers. She may have died in child birth.
They were displaced or refugees from Arkansas during the Civil War. Since the area was very primitive, there are no records. First daughter Harriet Myers may have married there also. I'm looking for her grave, or a news article of her death. Am I dreaming? Dtr Samantha was caring for a 1 year old boy named James in 1870. Figure it was
