My grandfathers name was Charles Morton Maloney. The family lived on Spencer Ridge on the north fork of the KY river. I am not sure if this was an actual feud or just a squabble between neighbors. It is reffered to in our family as the Maloney/Shelton feud. I am not sure that they ever proved that my grandfather was

Hi Gene,
Who were Clell Mullin's parents? I looked in my Bowling-Mullins family files for Clell and did not find him.
Was he kin to the family of James H. Mullins who married Lucinda Bowling?
James H. Mullins was the son of James Mullins and Mary Caudill Mullins-all Feudists surnames.

I am looking for information on Jacob Branon, son of Lee and Racheal

he was shot, and killed. I do not know if he had children, his death

Hi Judy and All,
Judy I have only one branch of the Maloney family in my family trees-and not a direct line.
Benjamin Fraley s/o Frederick and Chloe Fraley md. Sarah Maloney 23 August 1812 in Estill Co. KY.
All of the Fraley-Maloney Cousins spell the surname Maloney in doing research; but I am sure Maloney has been spelled Malone/Meloan in some of the census records. I think we all know how confusing old census records can be in doing research.
Take Care,
Ramona

Ramona,
I noticed your message to Shawn about the surname MALONEY
Could you try the spelling MELOAN and MALONE?
I have come across the surname MELOAN, and I've seen the spelling as MALONE for the same family.
I'm just trying to help turn over a few more stones here :-) .
