1. Pelly - Rubarts Marriage in 1860 [1]
In the Adair marriages, there is a John R. Rubarts married a L. P. Pelly/Pelley on 28 Nov 1960. I have looked at the 1860 census and cannot find a female with the initials of L.P. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? John R. Rubarts died Dec 1868 so this is all between census where there is not much to look at. Don
2. BROWN Reunion? [1]
Any BROWN Family Reunions out there? Specifically I am looking for any descendants of Michael BROWN (c1808-1858) and Elizabeth SHELTON (c1815-bef.1880), or Elijah BROWN (1843-1883) and Jane BERTRAM (1848-1888), but am interested i hearing of any BROWN Family Reunions in the Adair Co., KY area. 3. Marriage Lookup Short and Wariner or Warren [1]
I'm looking for a marriage record of William Boyd Short, married to Caroline Wariner or Warren. Their only child, Charles McPherson Short. On Charles death certificate it mentions his parents names.. The closest that I can figure out that William probably got married in the late 60's but no later then 1872, because that's when Charles McPherson Short was born. I have not been able to place William Boyd Short on the 1870 census. So I want to think that he was married after 1870 but no later then 187
