If you need the phone numbers for them, let me know and I will look them up for you. Penny ----- Original Message ----- From
2. Cannon Lake Cemetery [1]
Several new things have been added to the Bell GenWeb site. The Cannon Lake Cemetery photos are on line thanks to Carl & Jean Redmond. They also submitted a very interesting story entitled Walls Camp Massacre. Special thanks to all of you who are working so hard to build this site. I have included the names on each page of those who have submitted things. I don't want to leave anyone out and if I start listing names I am afraid I will forget, so I try to make sure your name is posted along

I agree with Connie. She has been very professional in all of her dealings with the public. We could all learn a lesson from her. 606-573-2132 Loyall Funeral Home Phillip Bianchi, the Harlan Co. Coroner works there for his father, Lewis. I do know that they have been putting all their names and info in the computer. Maybe he can help you with what you need to find. Also, Athelene Chitwood works there. She and her late husband worked there for many years. 12. RE: [KYBELL] Ruth Miracle/Hensley cemetery [1]
Rutha, According to the KY Death Index there are Ruth Miracles that died between 1960-1979. The first died on 9 February 1968 in Bell County at the age of 85. The second died in Clark County (but resided in Fayette County) on 2 September 1973 at the age of 49. You can order a copy of the death certificate from the Dept. of Vital Records in Frankfort. It *should* list her birthdate, the funeral home/undertaker and the cemetery where she was buried. Hope this helps. Sherri ----- Original Message -----

We are trying to find out my grandmothers birth and death date in order to buy her tombstone. No one remembers for sure what funeral home was used. She was buried just above Molus at the Speed Hensley cemetery. We checked there but the funeral home marker has fell apart. She lived at Molus for years with her daughter Fannie Mae Saylor Brock. Then she lived just below Insull, KY,when she died. Fannie Mae and my Dad "Willie Osborne" were brother and sister. No one remembers the year for sure but w

18. John and Ellen Gent of Middlesboro. [1]
Hi. I am researching the GENT family from Bell County. My GG Grandfather was John Ratcliffe GENT. He was born about 1857 in Chorley, England. John's wife was Ellen. They came to Middlesboro area when it was being built, from Pennsylvania. He was a Coal Miner. All his family was coal miners from Chorley, Lancashire, England. John's parents came to the USA in 1864 when John was about seven years old and raised a large family in Pennsylvania. John married Ellen sometime in the late 1870's, I assume,

Kelly, Watch both your choice of adjectives when addressing me and your spelling. Don't accuse me of being petty or of anything else. Be very careful. I wrote to remind people of the Bell GenWeb site that is in the process of being built up. It's everyone's choice where they submit their files, and it's best not to write personal messages to others to encourage them to submit to the archives in favor of the other sites. ~Connie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Blizzard Family"

22. New Page for Coal Miners [1]
A page for Bell County Coal Miners has been added. It's been requested that I put the coal miner's info on a separate page so I changed a few things. This page will be for photos of miners, coal mines, company stores, pay receipts, etc. If you have anything you would like to submit to this section please email me. I know there was a lot of coal mining in Bell County so hopefully you all have pictures of family members that you can submit. Thanks, Gloria _ht

Rutha: I not totally sure, but I think there is a Cawood Funeral Home either in Claiborne County or Campbell County, TN. I'm mostly thinkin' Claiborne County is where it is located. It is on the KY-TN border. Good luck! Sandie in CO
