Hello Bell County Researchers,
Well, I did it. I removed the KYGenWeb links and logos from the web page and
we are no longer affiliated with that project. For those of you who may have
missed it. The KYGenWeb and USGenWeb projects say that anything submitted to
the county web pages will be considered the property of KYGenWeb and USGenWeb
unless specifically requested otherwise. I felt this was unfair as well as
deceitful and tried to fight it but the rules will continue to apply for KYGenWeb.

Thank you both for the excellent job you are doing. I strongly feel that
our genealogy should be FREE to others that are searching for their ancestors
and that some company should not profit from what other researchers have
willingly share. The "major " genealogy sites charge a hugh price for information
that many of us researchers have tracked down ourselves.
I will now get down off my soap box.
Thanks again,
