Looking to find members of the GEORGE LEE and ALICE CRAIG Lee family in the census for 1910 and 1920.
In 1900, they were in Harlan Co. He died in Bell Co in 1925 and was buried in Knox Co.
I do not have a date of death for Alice or her place of burial.
In 1910, George would be about 59 and Alice would be about 45. (I've been told she was listed as Minerva A. in the 1900 Harlan Co census. Another researcher lists her as Almiera A.)
Possible children with them in 1910 include WILLIAM, JOHN, JAMES THOMA

Robert,
Thank you. I found it. It doesn't say much but at least it tells the funeral
home. I have lost so many people this year, I guess that I am having a hard
time concentrating.

Is anyone researching the Garlands of Arjay Kentucky? I am searching
for the burial site and any other info I can get my hands on for Rubin

Arjay Kentucky. He married Emma James from Carter County, Kentucky and
had 9 children. Rubin died 5-4-1929 in Arjay. His wife Emma died
5-29-1940 also in Arjay. I don't know where either of them are
interred? Thanks for your help!

I have found out from family members that my grandfather Walter Garland
who was a musician actually played music for a radio station somewhere
in Pineville. Anyone know anything about radio stations from the time
period of the 1920's to the 1930's or how I could go about getting any
information about this?
Also, Walter Garland died from injuries sustained either falling from a
railroad bridge or trying to hop a train. Not exactly sure which, but
what about a newspaper article from December of 1932? Anyo
Searching for any relatives or information of Jesse Garland. He was
born in 1889, Bell County. Married Myrtle Spivey and had 4 children.
He is noted on his brother Walter's death certificate as an informant
and was also with Walter when he either tried to jump a train or fell
from a railroad bridge. I was hoping that someone who was related to
Jesse would know of a story or FACT about what exactly happened to
Walter!
Thanks,
Donna
I just wanted to remind everyone that the above mentioned families are
having a family reunion in Hindman, KY at the Hindman Settlement School on
Saturday, Sept 13th. We hope that all who are related can attend. The
cost of the reunion is $10 and we will have turkey and ham and everyone is
asked to bring a covered dish and an item for our raffle. If you can attend
please email me directly and let me know how many will attend so we have
enough food for everyone. I hope to see lots of new cousins there,
