Looking to find members of the GEORGE LEE and ALICE CRAIG Lee family in the census for 1910 and 1920. In 1900, they were in Harlan Co. He died in Bell Co in 1925 and was buried in Knox Co. I do not have a date of death for Alice or her place of burial. In 1910, George would be about 59 and Alice would be about 45. (I've been told she was listed as Minerva A. in the 1900 Harlan Co census. Another researcher lists her as Almiera A.) Possible children with them in 1910 include WILLIAM, JOHN, JAMES THOMA

Is anyone researching the Garlands of Arjay Kentucky? I am searching for the burial site and any other info I can get my hands on for Rubin Garland who was born in Tazwell, Tennessee and moved his family to Arjay Kentucky. He married Emma James from Carter County, Kentucky and had 9 children. Rubin died 5-4-1929 in Arjay. His wife Emma died 5-29-1940 also in Arjay. I don't know where either of them are interred? I have found out from family members that my grandfather Walter Garland who was a musician actually played music for a radio station somewhere in Pineville. Anyone know anything about radio stations from the time period of the 1920's to the 1930's or how I could go about getting any information about this? Also, Walter Garland died from injuries sustained either falling from a railroad bridge or trying to hop a train. Not exactly sure which, but what about a newspaper article from December of 1932? Searching for any relatives or information of Jesse Garland. He was born in 1889, Bell County. Married Myrtle Spivey and had 4 children. He is noted on his brother Walter's death certificate as an informant and was also with Walter when he either tried to jump a train or fell from a railroad bridge. I just found out today that my cousin Doris Taylor Godsey died Friday. She lived in Corbin. Her funeral was yesterday. Does anyone out there happen to know where the Old Coleman cemetery is? It is suppose to be located in the Arjay area out side of Pineville in Bell County and use to be called Heyburn cemetery. This is where my grandfather is buried and he died before I was born. Is it possible that anyone out there could check out this cemetery for me to find the grave of Walter Garland who died on 12-12-1937? Get a picture of it and email it to me? Hello, I have a Bessie Russell b. abt 1901 and she married a Mr. Mays. She later had a child Juanita Mays by a John Brock. I am not sure when Juanita was born but I think it was abt. 1930.
