Pugh & Wilson Looking for any scrap of information on this family, especially their children. Elijah Wilson married Caroline M. Pugh March 12, 1874 in Magoffin Co., KY Elijah died June 10, 1917 in Breathitt Co., KY. Caroline probably died sometime around 1901. I have been unable to find this family in any Census records. I'm not researching McQuinn's but I stumbled upon the following information while trying to locate the McQuinn Cemetery in Guage, KY. It may be useful to you McQuinn researchers. My ggrandparents lived on Little Caney on Rt 30 about 4 miles towards Salyersville. They are listed in the Elliottsville Pct. I can find some Pughs, and some Wilsons, in Elliottsville Census 1910, but no Elijah anywhere in Breathitt Co. Census for 1910. Elliottsville is also listed as Quicksand. McQuinn Cemetery Lookup Anyone know where the McQuinn Cemetery is located? Elijah WILSON was buried there June 11, 1917. The undertaker was Silals LOVELY of Guage, Kentucky. I can't find GUAGE, KY on the map either. Elijah WILSON's death certificate says he died in Breathitt County in Vot. Pot. Elliottsville on June 10, 1917, so I would guess that the McQuinn cemetery is located somewhere near there??? McQuinn Cemetery Many thanks to all for helping me locate Guage, KY on the Map. I have still not heard from anyone who has been to the McQuinn Cemetery, but it is listed on the USGS National Mapping Site. This site says the McQuinn Cemetery is in Breathitt Co., KY (USGS 7.5' x 7.5' Map: Guage) Latitude: 373532N, Longitude: 0831204W. I found the McQuinn Cemetery on a topographic map.
