Anyone have any information on the following? John Spencer was 56 years old
and was born in Ky according to the 1850 census of Breckinridge county, Ky
when this will was written.

Isn't it probable that the Elisha Monis named below was
instead, Elisha Morris? In the deed, is it definitely Monis
vs. Morris? There are several families in the 1850 Breck.
Co. census named Morris, but none named Monis.
Another hint: Just because James Ingram doesn't appear in
the index for a census doesn't mean that he isn't there. My
wife's gg-grandfather [Charles Graham] is not listed in the
back of the book for 1850 Breckinridge Co., KY census, pub.

I can't find this James Ingram in the census but he
has 3 land deals - so he's there somewhere.

I agree... been to quiet, and with spring and ummer coming up it's going to
get even more quiet. While my researching info is tied up on a "locked up"
drive and I can't get to it yet, I still would like to post the surnames that
I am looking.
Up until about 50 or so years ago, all my branches were in Breckinridge Co.,
and had been there for about 120-130 years. I'll post the earliest known
ancestor and spouse and pray my memory and notes will hold out on any queries
or responses.
