Trying to refresh a childhood memory. Visited a small community (abt. 1967), I think it was Hardin Springs. The family I stayed with (GARYs) owned a very small grocery, probably 20 x 20 Foot. It might have been a post office,
Hi all....
Just a quick update. I spent most of the day uploading files and adding them to the Archives site. With the exception of a handful, all 507 of the "B" surname cards are online. A substancial amount of "P" and "N" cards were added, in addition to all the "Y" cards, and the beginnings of the "K" cards.
Enjoy!
Happy Hunting!

Have you found more information about Milly Robertson and John Davi(d)son? Do you know where they were married?
Thanks.

As a descendant of James Denham Noblett and his second wife, Anastatia "Annie T" Davis, I realized I have never seen a picture of this couple. I am searching for pictures of James D, wives Sythia, Annie, or Sarah, or any of his 15 children and their families. I am willing to share the few pictures I have of Lucy Noblett Whitworth and a couple of her sisters (I cannot tell which sister they are of).
I am in contact with a descendant of Francis W. Noblett, brother of James D. I was able to send him copie
Hello,
Here is a partial answer.... Maggie sent it over to me... They don't have
everything like Notre Dame but have some things... and I think the lady
told me that I could get them on an inter-library loan. So I need to look
into that.

Hi all....
With the server having problems this past week, I held up on the WWI Draft Registration Card project until it was "fixed". With all that taken care of, I've started linking up the transcriptions again, and will begin submitting what's been sent in to add to what's already there.
So for the moment, the "Q" surname page is complete, the "G" surname page is complete (I think there is one I have to track down and submit it still), and there were additions to the "P" surname page.
Over the cours
Hi all...
The uploads to the Archives site are complete for the night. The "B's" (about 25 remain to be loaded on), the "P's", and all the "Q's" but one have been added. I still have some "P's" that were sent in that I won't be able to get to until tomorrow (due to time constraints).
Y'all have a good one! Happy Hunting!

Fellow genealogists and anyone concerned with preserving our sacred cemeteries,
The History Channel and Time Warner are sponsoring a 'Save Our History' grant
award for which anyone can go online and cast their vote. Voting ends THIS
FRIDAY April 27th, so time is short.
We were fortunate that our restoration project was chosen as a finalist. The JCOGS is the only genealogy society or cemetery project to be chosen as one of the five finalists, so I truly hope that you will go to the Time Warner websit
Hello out there -
Does anyone know who might have copies of the Bardstown Repository? and
some other *very old* KY papers?
I did not see it listed at the Nelson Co PL or at Filson. It is not listed
at www.genealogybank.com... Not at LDS...
When I did a Google search, it turned up at Notre Dame - Indiana campus

Hi all....
More updates to the Archives site. Two of the three pages of "B" surnames is completely online and ready to be accessed. The "S's" are complete from Sabastion - Smothers, with the exception of 47 transcriptions of the Smith cards. And there were more "P's" added to their respective page tonight. I'm drawing a blank on how many, but I believe all the Powell transcriptions are online, and a good portion of the Powers transcriptions.
Hope you guys are having a blast with them! Happy Hunting!
