I realized after I sent that her last name was Snyder. She is buried at the
New Ivy Hill Cemetery in Hardinsburg. Other Snyder's also buried there are:
Clara Lee 3-8-1894--12-25-1910
Lena Denton 1887-1949 W of P.H.
Phillip H. Sr 1881-1964 H of Lena Denton

Hey there Jen...
I know this might sound crazy, but by chance do you know "where" it is on
690? I figure it's between Custer and Westview, just not sure where the "S.
C. Leslie's farm" is/was located. If not, no biggie... I'm sure Karen and
Bevie will know. With it being one that was being cleaned up, it might be
one I can really access and get some photos before it might possible go
"under" again... if you know what I mean.
One of the cemeteries that was mentioned to me and was on my mind, was

Hi,
I have 2 votes for cemeteries to be added to the already great collection.
Both contain many of my ROBINSON and allied family members. First is the
Scott-Payne Cemetery in Harned, and the second is the Allen Family Cemetery
which sits on farm property on the Seree-Locust Hill Road. Three years ago
the farm was owned by Eddie Wilson, but I think it sold to a new owner
recently. The farm was originally owned by Cyrus Robinson, and left when he
died in 1890 to (his son ?) Jim Allen. I contributed to the

I also have Breckinridge Co. Bruner's in my husband's family. His
"however many greats" grandfather was Peter Beghtol. His first wife
was Catherine Bruner--they married about 1804 I think (going from

Catherine apparently died. Peter married Polly Bruner about 1814-ish
and they had a bunch more, including Melvina Beghtol--my husband's

A lot of my ancestors/relatives are buried in the Union Star

I don't think they are one and the same. Henry's wife Adeline (aka Addie) ended up remarrying Allen Jupin in Meade County in 1913. I don't know if Henry died or if they divorced.

I was looking at MaQuest today and there is a Leslie Ln off of 690. Do you

Jan, thanks very much for the names. What is the source?
I took the list you sent and did some matching to my database and filled in
several dates and other things based on your list. I don't know how useful
it would be, but here is the list with some additional information or
questions. If you or anyone else knows what cemetery these people are
buried in, I'd appreciate it.

Did you by chance have relatives in West Point. I remember when I was a teenager there was an older lady named Louise Wardrip who attended our church. Don't know if she was single, widowed, or divorced. Wardrip isn't exactly a common name.

Read your e-mail about Henry T. Davis. I know nothing of this family but
for
years have hoped to find someone researching the Davis family. The reason
being that one of my father's sisters, Pearl Catherine Sharp married a
Wilson Davis and they lived in Breckinridge Co. in the late 20's ,early
30's.
Wilson Davis was County Judge during some of these years. I have a
picture of this couple, also copy of his will and a couple of other items. I
know that Wilson was married previously to his marriage t
I had some Davis' living in Breckinridge County circa 1910 and don't know what happened to them after that. Is there a listing of people who are buried there? Seems after the 1910 census my Henry T. Davis just went poof and disappeard.

I am very interested in the Davis-Fentress cemetery. I know we have spoken
about it before and you said that it was in the process of being cleaned up.
I would love to know more and (should I even hope) to see pictures of family
stones! It is located off Highway 690 on S.C. Leslie's farm.
Bless you and all you do!

I'm hoping I can shake it off soon, too! I'm suppose to see a surgeon on

On the Union Star Cemetery.....there is that one, and then there is the

are two separate cemeteries. My assumption is that Bruner #1 is smaller
than Union Star... but don't hold me to that! I'm a direct descendant of

Hi all...
I was able to put on some pictures I found I had of the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Stephensport. I do have some of Cedar Hill, Irvington, but I may try to put them on tomorrow. They are only a handful, but that's better than nothing. So for now, Cedar Hill Stephensport is the only one updated.
Happy Hunting!

Hey there list...
I know it's been a while since I've done an major work on the Breck. Co. GenWeb site, and I apologize. Between the death of my grandmother and a few other family situations, I've been battling the flu bug for going on 3 1/2 months and some unexpected health situations. Hopefully here in the next couple of weeks I'll feel more like doing work and adding to the site... so just bear with me a little longer.
As you guys know (or if you don't, you will in a second), my passion is cemetery r
