1. Joel HAYNES [1]
Hello, I am new to the Haynes family and the Breckinridge and Audrain Cos. lists. Looking for help with identifying the children of Joel HAYNES. Looking at census and birth places of his children over a period of years, it appears that Joel HAYNES arrived in Missouri from Kentucky about 1828-1829. I did not find him in Audrain Co., MO in 1830. 1840 Audrain Co., MO Federal Enumeration Census Salt River Township, page 10, line 26 Joel HAYNES 1 male - 5 and under 10 (probably Charles) 1 male -
2. Haynes, Barr, Jolly Re: Nelson Jolly Miller and Jennie E Gilbert family [1]
Neighbors of General William Hardin circa 1780 were the Claycombs, Brashears, Bruners, Haynes, Rices, Jollys, Barrs, Deans, and Spencers. This according to Perrins history, page 1040 (sorry I don't have a full citation). I've seen Haynes as Hens in the past, a German name, so I'd keep that in mind for the period before 1800. Good luck. 6. Allen-Brown marriage [1]
Hi All! I received the two death certificates for Catherine (Allen) Brown and Creel Brown. The home in Anchorage was named "Creel Lodge" (no address) Catherine died there and Creel died in the KY Bapist Hospital two years later. Any information where Creel Lodge is/was located would be appreciated. Also I'm now wondering if they married in Breckinridge County (where Catherine's family lived) or in Jefferson County (where Creel's family lived) I have no idea when it occured and don't know which county.
7. Nelson Jolly Miller and Jennie E Gilbert family [1]
I am researching the following family: Nelson Jolly Miller, born Oct 1859 Wife Jennie E, born Sept 1856 Daughters Blanch, born Sept 1884 Eva, born Nov 1886 Norma, born Nov 1888 Georgia, born Dec 1894 Bessie, born Feb 1900 Ressie, born Feb 1900 I believe there was also a son named Daniel or Dennie. The above information came from another researcher who looked up the family on the 1900 and 1910 soundex cards, but he did not look at the actual census sheets.
