Hi all.... Wanted to email and let you all know that the server is now up and running so I (and other File Managers) can upload our webpage updates. I've been off and on the phone the majority of the night trying to track down some cemetery information that I also want to make you all aware of. I learned early this evening that back about 2 weeks ago there was vandalism done to the Cedar Hill, Stephensport Cemetery. According to police, approximately 50 markers were damaged. In the many phone calls mad

If you go to http://www.kygenweb.net/counties/selection.html Click on county of interest and you will find files & links that apply to that county. The 1880 census is online at the LDS site WWW.Familysearch.org. 6. [KYBRECKI] Uploads to the site [1]
Hi all.... Wanted to let you all know that I haven't been able to upload the revisions to the Custer UMC and Garfield cemeteries yet, nor have I been able to add more to the "S" surnames within the WWI Draft Registration Card project. The server that the GenWeb uses is still experiencing problems, so until it's fixed and operational, I can't upload anything new. One thing I do know about, thanks to one of the researchers visiting the site, the Matthews/Burch Cemetery is one page that is unavailable for v
7. [KYBRECKI] 7/15/2007 Breck. Co. USGW KYArchives additions and updates [1]
Hi all.... Wanted to let you all know that there was an update/addition to the main Cemetery Tombstone Photograph page. I was finally able to upload the images of the maps sent by Mrs. Schafer. Those maps correspond to the regions designated by the Breck. Co. Cemetery Board in Hardinsburg. Through them, over 400 of the between 600-700 cemeteries in the county have been listed down and most all have been visited at least once to verify they exist and have a few pictures taken to show the condition of the

I will check " Live Coverage" and let you know ...soon as I hear. When do you plan to post this list? I have several photo to add, but need to round up some old ones.. You should be safe with the DeHaven if you want to go ahead with it ,but I will let you know if that is not correct, and you could correct them later. Hey Dana, Just a heads-up. My uncle Billy had a heart attack and stroke after having major surgery. We are hoping all will turn out well...but in the event that it does not, I will be heading to KY for (atleast) a few days. I will let you know if and when....and I will plan on taking more photos at Cave Springs (where he would like to be buried) and will also go to Fentress Davis Cemetery. He would like this because he felt that cemeteries (and remembering our ancestors) are very important. Every

12. [KYBRECKI] Tombstone [1]
Hey all, I have a picture of the tombstone of Catherine Lynn Tucker who was born June 15, 1966 and died June 16, 1966. She was the daughter of Robert and Anna Tucker. I don't remember which cemetery I took the picture in and want to upload it to Findagrave and can't without the cemetery. I have Vol. 1 of the Breckinridge County Cemeteries and she is not listed in there. I don't understand why because there are later burials that are listed. Does anyone out there have Vol. 2 and could check to s

16. Re: [KYBRECKI] vital records [1]
Linda..... Officially, statewide, the recording of the births/deaths/marriages/divorces began in 1911. Unofficially for Breckinridge County, it's what Mrs. Schafer calls, "A hit, lick, and miss situation". I know personally of a couple of family death listings that have been found and I want to say it was in the 1860 time frame (off the top of my head). The records literally are a "hit, lick, and miss" for the entire county between the mid 1800's till the statewide law mandating it's beginning in 1911.

18. [KYBRECKI] Overseas Cemetery help for those from Breck. Co. [1]
Hey all..... I didn't know if anyone would have need of this, but I couldn't not say something... knowing how many didn't come back from WWI, WWII, and the Korean War. The American Battle Monuments Commission in Arlington, Virginia (established by Congress in 1923) has a service they provide for individuals trying to find a military family member's burial situation. You have to provide information to a degree, but if enough info is present... they can pretty much help you with the rest of it and provide

22. [KYBRECKI] Update on Cedar Hill, Stephensport Cemetery [1]
Hi all.... Wanted to give an update on the situation concerning the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Stephensport. Last night I told you all of vandalism that occurred on June 19th and believed on June 20th as well. I was on and off the phone today with the Breckinridge County Sheriff's Department, the Breck. Co. Archives, Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, two of my family members, and one of the two caretakers of the cemetery it's self. Here's what I have found out and know as of this evening. There were two juveniles
23. [KYBRECKI] Macedonia Cem. and the DeHaven/DeHoven surname??? [1]
Hi all.... I was hoping to get a little something straightened out before I went any further. I've been working on getting the Macedonia Bapt. Church Cemetery typed up (all the burials up to 1998) and came across something that I want to make sure I get it right. I've come across several listings for the DeHaven surname since beginning yesterday. Today, I've come across more listings, but I'm having a hard time reading and seeing the spelling on a couple of markers. I can't tell if it's DeHaven or DeHo
