Hi all... Wanted to email you all and let you know of the updates and additions to the site. Bettie A. Cook submitted a biography about her g-grandfather, Capt. John P. Cummings, which not only talks of him but also traces the movements of the Company he was in charge of. She also submitted a roster of the 3rd KY Cavalry, Company L, I just haven't had the chance to transcribe it yet... so that is still to go online. There is a "double listing" for the Matthew/Burch Cemetery. I've not only listed it wit

Hi all..... I've been very busy today uploading/building/designing for the site, so have a lot to bring you up to date on. After a long conversation with Mrs. Schafer at the Archives, she was able to take care of about 99% of the questions I had out of the over 400 cemeteries in the records she sent. There are a scant few she needs to check on and get back with me concerning, so when I get those from her, I'll update the pages again and let you all know. As a result of the conversation, it's a more fine

I have all the files uploaded and placed on the pages, but with the problems that I've been having.... some are going to be missing some graphics for a while until I can figure out what's going on. Does anyone on the list know where Hwy. 702 is at in Breck. Co.? If it's not "in existence" now, what it is known by now? I have some directions regarding the location of a cemetery. It's listed as "... off Hwy. 702 in Breck. Co. ". With the rest of the directions, I know it's down in the southwestern part of the county. At one time I thought I knew, but am wondering if I pegged it wrong, as none of my maps indicate Hwy. 702 (my earliest map is ca. 1999). Thanks... Dana File Manager, Breckinridge Cou

25. [KYBRECKI] WALKER family + Husted + Whale + Kennedy? [1]
Hi Dave, I know Walker is a common name - BUT... I have a William Walker who married Jane Husted, 31 Oct 1798 in Hardin County, Kentucky. Moses is a very commonly used name in the Husted family. Jane had a cousin named Moses (my direct line). William Walker died about 1805, I believe, because the tax list in 1805 indicates "heirs of William Walker." BTW, I have not found any offspring of William and Jane Husted Walker. Gilbert was in Virginia as early as 1777, when he and his (assumed) brothers signed
