Yes, we did go there, and were able just by walking the grounds to find the

I'm at a beach without my files. I didn't search Philo and Mary Falls. At

I've done some search in many areas for John born prior 1816. I've found

Hi there Bob....
It would be an honor to have you helping transcribe, sir. How we would do it, I would send you the template that Shirley Miller typed up in MSWord. You'd copy everything she typed up and place it in a blank email. Then you'd type in the answers to the questions from the individual death certificate image before emailing it to me. I'll take care of the rest from there.
Now, the images, I have every image of Breck. Co. death certificates from 1911-1953 on disks/my hard drive. Starting
Hi all....
I know you all are aware of the passing of my mother and events surrounding it. As I write, I'm uploading the last of the 1929 death certificates so that all available certs to the public will be available for transcription. In a few weeks I'll be contacting those who volunteered to help transcribe the records, giving them the instructions/information they'll need. Granted, I'm still dealing with various issues since mom's death, so the slow pace we'll be starting out with will help me out in

Has anyone traced John Barbee's (Ed's father) prior to Breckinridge Co.?
My 99 yr young Mom would enjoy learning. I've had no luck finding him.

Hi
My records are:
Ed Barbee and Eliz. Sample Bristow married Daviess Co. 1/1842 by Rev.J.
Bristow. She had a son by a Wesley Bristow. I recall Edward was appointed
guardian.
Edward's first child was Mildred b. 1839. I don't know who her mother was.
Edward's daughter Mary b. 1850 was my GrGrandmom.
Has anyone found Edward's home/cemetery/occupation, etc?
Please let me know if my info is incorrect.
Thanks,

Hello.
Edward Barbee B:1810...the 1850 and 1860 census both show Edward as a
farmer. I don't know where he was buried but the 1850 census says his house number
was 108 in District #1 (wherever that was?) In 1860 census shows Edward
Barber 57 with Elizabeth 40, Philo 12 and Davis Nix. It also states he was par.
blind. Is this the same Edward in both census's. Elizabeth (this must be
the 2nd wife, Elizabeth Nix Barstow because he was remarried to her in 1857)
and Philo's birth years both match
Hey all.....
I just emailed everyone that had volunteered to help with the death certificate transcriptions, giving them the instructions on how we are going to try and do it. If by chance you emailed me and volunteered, but didn't get the "instruction email" tonight, PLEASE email me and let me know. For some reason I'm thinking someone volunteered and I placed it in another folder in my email box, and not in the "transcriber help" folder.
If anyone is interested in helping transcribe, feel free to emai

I could help out some but I didn't get any instructions. This project could possibly shed some light on my g-grandfather whose last know residence was Breckinridge County in 1910. No idea after that. I can either rule in or out that he died in Breck. Co.
