I sent the last reply too quick. I found in Sterett Family History on William Sterett, " William's three wives were all first cousins, granddaughters of the wealthy landowner, Richard Stephens, for whom Stephensport was named" William married: Elizabeth Eleanor Dorsey, d/o Nancy Stephens & Charles Dorsey, 11 Feb 1827. Elizabeth Ann Holt, d/o Eleanor K. Stephens & John W. Holt, 3 Dec 1840. Sarah Eleanor Stone, d/o Sallie Stephens & Eli Stone, about 1864. ( I have not found a date for this marriage but E

Cool beans Doug! What are some of the areas you are talking about and I'll see about getting them up. It's only a matter of secs to pull the area up and me put markers there. If it's "old" place names and I'm not familiar with them, it's just a matter of me finding someone who knows it as the old name and me taking it from there. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug n Marcy" To: Sent: Sunday, May 06, 2007 3:01 PM Subject: Re: [KYBRECKI] Help re

Hi, Dana..... I am so sorry......I forgot to get the Kasey cemetery stuff to you that I have. Do you need the pixs......some are hard to read or just the info on the tombstones? There is a list at the Breckinridge Co archives, which is where I got it. I've been really busy but that's no excuse. By the way, I think it's time you got over all this junk you've been having! Hi all.... Wanted to let you know of the updates to the website for today. There were additions to the "H", "S", and "W" surname pages of the World War I Draft Registration Card project. To date, over 2,000 card transcriptions have been placed online for viewing. With less than 1,800 cards left to transcribe, it means that 2/3rd's of the cards for Breckinridge County have been viewed and typed up. I called the Archives in Hardinsburg and have several things coming my way regarding cemeteries. I've ask

Hi all.... I've been taking it somewhat easy so as to keep from relapsing back into the pneumonia. I did get two more maps put on the site but it's going to take time in getting more on. First priority comes to the WWI Draft Registration Card project. Once those are finished, then full attention can go to the maps. So for now, there is a generalized map of the entire county showing the cities/towns/villages. I've also been trying to do a little overlapping of the individualized maps that show the ceme

Hi all..... I wanted to get your all's idea on something. I have access to GoogleEarth... something everyone can access, but some just don't (for whatever reason). I have a thought that would only take a little time as I've already got things marked off for personal reasons, so I could reclick some of those same places and provide something workable. Would various maps of sections for Breck. Co. be helpful to anyone? It would be present day (as in ca. 2002-2007 images) and I know enough about Breck. Co
