Does anyone have any information on his wife, Mary Frank? On the internet,
John R is listed as born abt 1821, the son of John and sarah Wheatley
Mattingly in Breckenridge county Ky. also states He was married in 1842 in
same county as above.
Dana, you do so very much for all of us. You never need to apologize for
taking time to do for yourself and your family. IMHO, you and they come
first anyway.
Thanks, Doug McCammish

Hi all...
Sorry for not really adding anything new over the past two weeks. Between car problems, health problems, and my 93 yr. old grandmother having a stroke... I haven't been able to do much of anything lately. Tonight I did upload a submission from Tanya Curtis for the Marriage Section that she submitted two weeks ago. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get it on the site sooner, and I want to apologize to her for that.
I'm going to try and do a little typing on the "Glimpses of the Past" booklet so as to
My grandmother gave a speech in 1990 outlining the history of the UMC in
Cloverport. The attached text file is it. I know it'll be a while before you
get to it, but I wanted to send it while I was thinking about it. I didn't
see an appropriate spot in the submissions for Church History. I have other
stuff that I'm collecting as well.
I'm also working on a podcast of her oral history of Cloverport. She did
that one in 1985. Can Rootsweb host audio files?

Hi all...
Since I've taken the day off from work, I decided to do some revisions I'd been wanting to do that I think would help everyone find a few things easier.
The Census Transcription area is beginning to fill in, but I wanted to make it not only a little easier to see (for people like me who have a hard time seeing small print), but a little easier knowing where you were "at" or "going to". I designed a page for the 1880 census since Wilma is getting more and more done with that set of information.
