Della,
When I click on "What's New" and then the Ann/Wm. Henson Rev. Pension link,
I get the Rev. War honor wall with 5 other pensioners, but the Hensons are
not there.
When I click on the 7 new Hubbard/Willis Photos link I get a picture called
Road Run School Kids.

Sorry about the direction mistake...I don't know what made me say toward
Booneville. The Martin Cemetery is on Red Bird outiside Oneida. It is on the
right side of the road if coming from Oneida. It is on the left if you get off
the Hal Roger's Parkway ( used to be Daniel Boone Parkway) and turn left toward
Red Bird.

Just to let everyone know...the yearly cemetery meeting at Martin Cemetery in
this Sunday. The cemetery is located in Oneida, towards Booneville on the
right on a hillside. You have to turn off the main road and cross a low water
bridge...not sure what the road name is actually called. I have some family
buried there, maybe some of you have some relatives as well. I am related to
the Davidson's.

Hi
the historical society is wonderful. the first thing I did was talk to a lot of your older relatives. Get as many names as you can. The census are the next place. Every ten years a new census came out. we are up to 1930 now.
Im sure that others will tell you more. Im not a full time researcher.
I love the Manchester historical society. I take my vacations there.

Hi Harold,
The one that I most want to see is my gr great grandfather, Robert Jesse Hensley.b.1810 d.abt. 1899. My other Hensley relatives are buried on the Old Hensley farm in Clay. I have a list of those buried there if you would like to have it.

Good morning Harold,
I have a couple of questions that maybe you can answer for me.
When I looked at my Clay Co.General Highway map, I see that there are a couple of cemeteries in that area. Looking at the parkway going East, well before you get to Chadwell Branch Road, there is a cemetery on the right. Now it's my understanding that this is where some Hensley's are buried (my Robert included). However, going on to the Chadwell Branch Rd., there is a cemetery on the left, marked on this map. Have you a

I need help with information on Nannie May Stivers. I believe she was born Nannie White, daughter of Alexander (Sandy) White and Francis Elizabeth (Hebie) Blevins. She was born about 1913, probably in Knox or Clay County. She was my second grade teacher at Greenbriar School in 1961 and also a relative, according to my mother. I would like to know which Stivers she married and if anyone can help me connect any of her family to the Downeys or Shoupes of Clay County. Was her husband Theophilus Stivers? Any hel

Hello,
I am new to your group. My grandmother is a Bowling from Clay County.
I have done some research on my own but was wondering what the best way
to go about getting information from your area would be. I live in
Kentucky and could still drive to your historical society if that is
still open.
Thanks,
Stephanie

Has anyone done a roster or does anyone have a roster of the cemetery on
Hector, Ky. which is located on the Hal Rogers Parkway directly across
the Parkway from Chadwell Hollow Road. When the Parkway was built in
1971, access to this cemetery was cut off. The only way to get to it is
to park your vehicle on the Parkway. There is at least 100 graves and
several very nice tombstones. Susanna Spurlock and Susanna Davidson and
numerous Hensleys are buried there
Thank you for any help you may be able to
Harold The cemetery across from Chadwell Hollow Rd.(Davidson Branch) is the name of the branch. I know that A.B. Hensley is buried there and also several Spurlocks and my mother sister Ida Roberts. I will be in Manchester the first week of Oct. for the Dillion Asher reunion and I will be on Hector and would be glad to copy this cemetery for you.
