Hi Tracy: the Monroe TN info. is information given to me by an elderly
cousin, part of the very first information I gathered about the family.
I have not had the opportunity to confirm it so, as with much of my information,
remains to be proven absolutely by research. Little by little I hunt out
supporting documentation as time and resources allow. Unf

Hello All,
I'm looking for a copy of Dr. Floyd B. Hay's book, "The Country Doctor", published in 1973. I'm willing to purchase, borrow, lease...or anything convenient to the owner.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, Everyone has been responding about the Albany Banner. The 1892
edition is the only one I had that early, I have no idea if any earlier
ones are available or not,but--I will call tomorrow and see what I can
find out. If not I do have The New Era-1920-1949 , if enough are
interested in this and its ok with our list manager I can post some from
it. Thanks Laura

The listing in the 1840 Clinton census for Joseph Brown Jr. is almost surely
Joseph Brown, son of Joseph Brown, Sr. and Matilda Shelley, not our Joseph
and Edith. I have the 1840 TN census listing for BROWNs at home. I'll check
for a Joseph in Monroe County.

Just one point I would like to add: I have some grandparents who died in
the 1930's in Clinton County; however, the state has no record of them
either. I know for fact when they died and where, have even visited their
graves there. Deaths were commonly not reported in those days.
Please. can and will someone email me the addresses (either snail or email)
for !) Jack Ferguson, author and 2) Albany Public Library? Thank you, Alice

Some of your information might be wrong.
I checked the Kentucky Vital Records page. I typed in Henry Huddleston,
I got 4, none of which died in Taylor County. There was one who died in
1943, but he was born considerably earlier than what you had.
Then I typed in Huddleston, in Taylor County, and it gave me no responses.
So your place of death must
