The KY Vital Records birth index lists Jessie C Jarboe b. August 7, 1918 as
the daughter of Harriet Wimsatt, not Anna Isabella Medley. Not sure who her
father was. But considering that Anna Isabell was b. 7/1905 and William R
Jarboe b. 3/1906, they would have been 13 & 12 respectively when Jessie was
born. I don't have a Harriet Wimsatt married to a Jarboe in my family file.

I received my issue of the Bulletin, Vo. 33 Spring 2000 in the mail
today. It has an article about the Tornado and the damage done to the
building and library in it.
Since there was no roof over the WCK:FRA rooms and no way to secure the
materials from unauthorized entry, it was urgent that the materials were
removed to a safe location. On or about the 7th of February, a small
house was rented and everything was moved there.
As of the 10th of February, the work with renovation promised by the

Randy,
It is my guess that Harriet Wimsatt was married to a Joseph Jarboe, not sure
which one. But they had a child in the birth index named Joseph1 Jarboe who
was b. & d. on the same day. Often when this happens and there is not a real
name, the vital records show the infant as the father's name with a "1" after
the name. Joseph1 Jarboe is listed in the birth index as b. 7/24/1923
Daviess co, KY and died on 7/24/1923 Daviess co, KY listed as U/1.

Harrriett Ann Wimsatt b. 14 Aug 1891, married 18 Nov 1913 to Joseph Henry
Jarboe and lived at Stanley Kentucky. ( I would guess the marriage bond
would reveal who were the parents of Joseph Henry Jarboe.)
Harriett and Joseph Henry Jarboe had five children:
Martha Ellen b. 16 Feb 1915 married Jacob Smith
Dorothy Lee twin.b. 16 Feb 1915 married James Wilbur O'Bryan
Jessie Carolyn b. 9 Aug 1918, married April 1935 to Wm. R. Schrecker

Hello
I was wondering if anyone has access to the 1870 census could tell me
if there was a Samuel Berry spouse Freelove living there and who was in their
household. Thank you very much for any help.

Some of us were disappointed in the "short census forms" and I got this from
another list and thought I would pass it along.
> Copies of both short and long census forms are at this >site. You can
>download it to a .pdf file.
http://www.census.gov/dmd/www/infoquest.html
Once you download it you can print it out, fill it out and put a copy in your
personal files for future researchers to find. Bonus: they'll be getting the
info straight from the source.
