Hello All,
This is being sent to you in case you haven't already heard
about it before.
I have just uncovered information that asks Kentuckians (or, I
guess even people from out of the state of Kentucky) to
let Kentucky's Task Force on Cemetery Preservation (Office of
the Kentucky Attorney General) know about the location of
Cemeteries which can allow the state of Kentucky provide
proper aid, etc. The 38 member Task Force on Cemetery
Preservation was formed by order of Gov. Patton sometime
earlier thi
Dear Sue,
If you live near Grant County, you can check the cemetery listings published
by the Grant County Historical society. There is a set in the county
library next door to the Court house in Williamstown. The Grant County
Historical society has published three volumes that may be available from
them. Also, you might be able to get some information from this site.

Sue,
Don't know if anyone has replied, but when I visited Grant Co., the library
had a book entitled "Grant County Cemetery Records". I am not certain of
the volume. You can probably contact them.

Does anyone on the list have any information on the marriage of Thomas Ryon
and America Bell which occurred probably in Harrison County, KY ca.
1850-1855? I believe these are the brother and sister of Francis M. Bell who
married Polina Ryon on Sept. 8, 1852 in Harrison County, KY. They had moved
to Grant County by 1858 where their daughter Lucinda Ryan was born.
Any help on this couple would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Michaelanne Guido

Looking for Benjamin Hill w/ wife Mary "Jane" Stone and William Hill w/wife

were brothers. They had a brother and sisters too, but I haven't discovered
their names yet.
Looking for Elijah Johns, family too.
Thanks

Trying to find out if Benjamin Hill b.abt.1807 (married Mar 30 1831 to Mary
Jane Stone b.abt.1815) was in Grant County in 1830. His family (father
Abner and brother William) was still in the Boone census, but he had gone.
Would also like to find him in the 1840 Grant County census. I have him there
in1850. Also trying to figure out who Mary Jane Stone's parents were.
Thanks
Deborah
1850 Grant Co., KY census (Abner, living with his son Benjamin Hill), and
William (Abner's son is still in Boone)
Thank You Nancy, that's the first I've seen any of them in Trimble County. I
really appreciate your help! Does anyone have an index or anything for 1870?

If anyone on the list has access to the Bourbon County marriages between
1845-1850 I need your help. Although the couple I am seeking resided in
Harrison and then Grant counties they were not married in either of them. I
know the Bells I am seeking were born in Bourbon County, KY so it is possible
that this marriage occurred there.
America Bell married Thomas Ryon (also spelled Ryan and Rion) before
September 1850. America Bell was the sister of Francis Marion Bell. I have
no idea of who their pa
