I am looking for any members of the CLEMONS LINE and those related to them
in Grant County. Some of the Clemons I have been looking at are Henry
Thomas Clemons, Albert G. Clemons, Margaret Clemons Ashcraft, James Clemons,
John Clemons and others -- all of whom were children of Leroy Clemons.
Leroy was from Clark County, and his first wife died in 1860, after which
all of the above named children moved to Grant County -- though Leroy stayed
in Clark. I've not been able to figure out why they went to Grant
Hello,
My husband and I are researching the Hutton surname of Grant County.
Samuel and James came to Grant Co.(from Harrison Co.) with their widowed
mother, Ann approximately 1826-28. They have married into a lot of your
family names--Webster, Evans, Delph, Franks,- but most of the information
that we have at this time is about
HUTTON.
Any information that we all have and can share is "a good thing."
Thanks
Jeanette and Jerry Hutton
Briefly I have Coon(Coons), New, and Morgan. They intermarry with Sipple, Jump, Lilly and many other Grant county people. I love sharing with others and getting their input and ideas. --Carolyn
