"Hello possible Cousins!"
Might anyone out there be familiar with the family of Daniel L. CUNNINGHAM
and his wife, Rebecca CARDER? As Team Leader for CRAIG Team # 8, I am
trying to follow this family and their descendants as best I can down through
the 1930 census. Thus far, I have the names of their 10 children, and am
underway in trying to locate this family's descendants in the later censuses.
All ten of their children were born in Grant Co., KY, between 1859 and 1880.
Keeping my fingers crossed here
Hi Robert. When I worked on the history committee when Ten Mile had it's
200th anniversary, we could not find any other records besides what is
posted on that website. There was a fire prior to 1940 which wiped out a
lot of records. I believe what the church had was compiled from church
members memory or records that were not in the church at the time of the
fire.
There is a website which lists the people who are buried in the church
cemetery.
Here are the William's family listed in the Ten Mile Ce
Hi Robert. I am a former member of Ten Mile Baptist Church which is in
Gallatin County in the area of Napoleon. The following website has the

clerk at TMBC, and later for the Ten Mile Baptist Association. According to
this history, he died in Glencoe, KY in 1896. Also a W.H. Williams who
served the church during the civil war pe
Greetings,
I'm wondering if anyone on this list can guide me to information on
Colonel Levi Williams, who was born in Madison Co., Ky., later lived in
Grant Co., before coming to Illinois in 1831 or so. I am interested in
learning his connection with Baptist churches in that part of Kentucky
before coming to Hancock County, Ill., where I live. He married Mary
"Polly" Reid in Kentucky. I was told that this Williams family was
identified with the Ten Mile Church, in Grant Co. (near Gallatin), and

Hi, Mary,
Thank you kindly for your help and the references. I've seen the
links you mentioned. What I really hope to find is the names of the
Williams family who were members prior to 1831. Do you know whether the
records that far back still exist, or who I might contact?
I've begun some work trying to find stones in an old cemetery near
Green Plains, Ill., and last fall I attended the dedication of the marker
which your link refers to. I, too, am a Baptist (sixth generation or
more), of the
