Love these articles Elva. Thank you.
Are there any subscribers on this list who are researching this family of Jim and
John Lee? If memory serves me, their brother George ultimately was responsible
for taking the life of Neal Christian.
Sincerely,

Sorry about that I must have been tired and distracted when I wrote that. I
meant to say that Richard Wilkerson Asher married Sallly Slusher and the
time period when he was born was 1847 or so. Sally was younger. He was
about 26 or so and she was about 15 or? when they married, so her mother
Polly Morgan that I am wondering lived a generation earlier. (just to give a
general time frame).

Hi cousins. I was wondering if anyone out there is researching the
Morgan family. I have a Sally Slusher who was the daughter of a Mary
Morgan and John Gilbert Slusher (I am told) and also my cousin just
learned that she is probably (assuming we can conclusively prove it) a
descendant of Robert Asher and Polly Morgan. Since the two names are
almost the same I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a
connection. One named for the other maybe? Robert and Polly were
married between 1860 and 1870 (probab

I know this is long, but I have been asked to post this, in hopes that
it will help to clear up some errors and misunderstandings that have
been published in the lineage of Elkanah Wynn Huff. There is no GREEN
Huff in the family of Winston Huff on any of the census records or in
family records. Only one GREEN Huff on Harlan or Clay Census.

Okay, I'm at wit's end, and hoping someone out there can help me. I've
got my great-aunt's diaries, letters and the Delayed Certificates of
Birth for my great-aunt and grandmother, all of which indicate that they
were in Middlesboro, Bell Co. KY bet. 1898 and 1908. Yet, the Guinn
family that I'm looking for doesn't show on the census. So, I'm trying
an end run here.
The diaries and letters refer to an "Aunt Martha Fairbush" who "was a
Guinn before she married a second time". Aunt Martha had a dau.,
