Donald: Thanks for your response. Next time I get into Louisville, I will
look it up. What exactly is the DOA? Is is the Daughters of the American
Revolution? I am just not familar with it.
Thanks for your help.

Dear Members,
I will finish up the look ups I have tomorrow, all I have left is the 1850
census lookups. When I finish these up I will be leaving on Thursday for 2
weeks, so if you write me requesting additional info or more look ups, I will
get back with you but in will be after July 10, 2003.
I will be happy to take additional look ups anytime, but won't be answering
until after July 10. If you have look ups for me to do or research you want
done, just wanted you to know I will be in touch bu

Pat,
You've just earned your Genealogy Angel Wings! Thanks so much. The info
you sent me I believe shows my grandparents in Section 19. I can remember
little about Grandma. My older brother/sister and our Mom were there when
she passed on. She was a fighter to the end. I knew the woman could bake
some great apple pies! And lucky for me, she carried her baby and kept her.
This baby would grow up and become my Mom. Thanks so much bringing a smile
back on my face and making my day. By any chance do
Sherry,
I saw the name Henry BUDKEE on the list. That could be a line of mine
that I have not worked on yet. I went to Ancestry.com images on line
and entered this name in the 1930 census index but this person did not
show up. Do you know what the census page number is? I could search
that way.
Thanks for sharing,
Janis
Was someone on one of the lists looking for info on Jeffersontown? Ran
across a bunch of stuff and don't know where it came from. Don't know if it was on
the list or in a book or sent to me. Would it be ok to post it if I don't
know the source? Looks like some good material.

Does anyone know where I might send off for a Kentucky marriage certificate search for the years 1935-1945 for all 120 Kentucky counties? I am trying to find proof of my grandmothers 1st marriage. I can't fin a divorce any where... If you know of a place I could search or send off for a state wide search that would be wonderful!!
Thanks, Denise Goodlett

Father Frances J.Timoney was stationed at the Roman Catholic Church of Holy
Name located in Louisville, KY on Third Street during the 1930's. I don't know
how long he was pastor there. He married my parents, Ray Bobzien and Mary
Agnita Edwards, in what was told to me to be his first "church" wedding at Holy
Name. He was a special friend to my parents all of their lives. I have a
picture of him. I'm sure information about him can be secured from the Chancery
Office of the Louisville Archdiocese.
Can anyone tell me how to get ahold of Phil DiBlasi. He is associated with the University of Kentucky and has done extensive work with Eastern Cemetery.

Jefferson County does not have townships. It was formed before the
township and range system existed (started with the Northwest Territory in
1787). It does have districts, but I do not know of any map that would show
them. There are maps online. Just go to the Louisville and Jefferson Co.,
KY History and Genealogy project and click on maps.
