James W. Orr (born 1836 to Griffin Orr and Nancy Ann Paschall) was related to the Orr's in Henry County, TN, who later moved to Calloway County, KY. A lease agreement recorded 28 May 1827 at the Calloway County Court House describes a tract of land being.......... 'situated near the (unable to make out word - could be north-) fork of Cypress Creek, then in the county of Livingston but now in the county of Calloway'.....
