Loren: My husband has been there since I have. He said it was under construction two years ago and opened about six months ago. Said it is across the street from the old courthouse and closer to the bridge from when you come into town. Are there two courthouses. Maybe one is the district court and the other is the circuit??? Phyllis: I have that he died in 1884; don't have where he was buried. I have date of marriage as 1/14/1855. These are the children I have from the census records of Rebecca Branham-Smith Pigman. Hi All. If you turn in the little town of sassafras you go up yellow creek where the yellow creek school is. My wife and I both went there. Sassafras Hollow is at the Carrs Fork Lake Dam. Beside the Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church. I have picture's of all of it if any would like to have them. Donald Givens.
