Is this not a genealogy list? Even a list owner should follow rules. I
don't think a Harley will end up on a family tree.

I think the first recommendation I would have for someone researching Knox

is $15 annually and includes a very nice, informative publication called
"Kentucky Kinfolk". They will send you a list of their publications for
sale. This will inclu

either one of their families. Do I have cousins in Knox County?

Hi Barb:
All of these KNOX CO names are ringing bells of
familiarity, but your BRACKETT name below really rang
a bell!
My grandfather was MARLIN CHILL BRACKETT, son of
WILLIAM DEAN and SALLIE BRACKET. "CHILL" was born
1851, died 1937, m1 to CHINA HENDRICKSON, m2 TO LUCY

Does this ring any bells for you? All these folks
were born and lived in Four Mile, Bell Co, KY. My mom

I'm also the new list host for the B

Happy Thanksgiving!
Here's the note Joyce Collins sent! Hope Santa is good to you!
The Knox Co. publications are really worth it!

Jo,
I am researching Phippses in Bell county and have not connected them w/ the
Knox co. group, but it is possible that they are related. My "mystery"
Phipps is Zarr Phipps who came from VA. He m. Didaima Baker, daughter of
Andrew & Jane Gillis Baker of Lee co. VA. They had at least two children,
Andrew & Henry. Andrew might have been killed in the Civil War, and Henry

It has been brought to my attention that maybe some of the cemetery
transcriptions are not complete cemetery listings, which is probably very
true. There are three different groupings for the cemeteries that I have
posted on the webpage.
1. Cemetery submissions that I received when I first took over the Knox
County page a year ago. These are bits and pieces of cemeteries that people
had researched, transcribed, received from other researchers, etc. So most
likely these are the cemeteries in question.
I am the list owner and can ask a question about a member of a persons
family. That's what this has to do with genealogy.
