I would like to talk to a few people about the name Pennington. My Great
Grandmothers last child was stated to be from the father of a man who's last name
was Pennington. However, that is something that has not been proven as my Great
Grandfather raised him and he is named in his Civil War Pension Records. Sure

researching mine and my husband's families, and find we are going to have to
order microfilm of newspapers of the day. His great grandfather was mobbed,
drug out of jail and lynched in 1903. It would have been noted in the
